It is clear that unless the United Nations Security Council, the main body responsible for international peace and security is reformed, these efforts cannot completely achieve its goals.
That is why we remind the international community at every opportunity of the fact that 'The World is bigger than five.'
However, we cannot accept today the system which was established in the atmosphere of the First World War
You cannot oblige the World to what five countries have to say.
But now, the World is obliged to that.
5 permanent members, 15 temporary members; the United Nations Security Council should not be like this.
A United Nations Security Council that does not represent the entire world cannot establish justice.
This needs to be reviewed.
Can you imagine? Just three countries form Europe, one country from Asia, one country from America – a total of five countries.
What will happen to the rest of the World? They set the rest of the World aside.
We say a total of 20 countries can be in the UN Security Council, all permanently.
They can be switched every two years by turn. All the countries in the world take their place there to represent the world. Justice can be served only in that way.
This general assembly has to provide the most comprehensive consensus on a comprehensive reform which is more democratic, equitable, transparent and reinforced with representational qualities that will make the Security Council effective.
If you think about what happens if I raise my voice, we are perished.
Then we cannot do this politics. The politician will take a tough stance, the politician will voiced the truth that he believes and stand by his words. If we do this, the world can find the justice that it has lost.
If we want democracy, we can only provide democracy by doing this.
