Dear distinguished members of the press, we have all witnessed terrorist attacks that have shaken the whole world in the past one year.
Therefore, fighting against terror was one of the most important issues of the summit. And we negotiated the fight against terror with a special agenda.
We have raised concern over the spirit of determination and struggle that we have presented at the Antalya summit in Turkey.
However, we have emphasized that neutralizing the attacks of terrorist organizations has failed and no country or region is far from this danger.
We have also emphasized that fighting the globalized terrorist threat can only be achieved by demonstrating a primitive, consistent and determined attitude towards terrorist organizations.
We have underlined that without leaving a double standard against the terrorist organizations and without providing international cooperation and solidarity we cannot get ahead in this issue.
We have also indicated that we support the work done by the United Nations, the International Civil Aviation Organization and the Financial Action Task Force in the fight against terrorist financing entities.
Within this scope we are going to pull out all the stops to support the Counter-Terrorism Action Plan. I would like to reiterate that we are expecting a clear attitude from other countries towards the support of this action plan as well as taking principled, consistent and a firm stand against terrorism.
I find it useful to underline this point here. It is not possible to set aside the self-devotion put forth by the German police at the G20 summit.
I especially would like to thank the German police organization for the efforts they made.
Today, Turkey is fighting extensively against the world's most active terrorist organizations such as ISIS, PKK, FETO (Fetullah Terrorist Organization), PYD and DHKPC.
As is often the case, our country has been obliged to continue this struggle on its own for the peace and security of its citizens and the whole world.
PKK terrorist organizations and its extensions can racketeer tens of millions of euros each year in many European countries.
It is more calamitous to see that people who committed murders in our country, be in the terrorist actions and shed the blood of innocent people, are being protected.
We unfortunately experience the most concrete and painful example about the members of FETO terrorist organization who escaped from our country.
The militants of this terrorist organization who engaged in a bloody coup attempt on 15th July last year, brutally martyrized 250 and wounded 2193 citizens in our country see western countries as safe haven for them.
I would like to especially point out that this picture especially disturbed and further offend our nation which protected the democracy at the cost of their life in the night of July 15.
We have once again paid attention to the fallacy which encouraged the terrorists, in our meetings and talks there.
As Turkey, we want this fact to be known. We will not remain silent and unresponsive to the support and arming of terrorist organizations right next to our borders and the creation of terror islands in the region.
We will not hesitate to use our self-defense right against threats towards the country's security.
The fact that we are seizing the weapons given to terrorist organizations in the bloody attacks in our territory indicates that the problem has already started to move beyond its current borders.
There is no guarantee that the weapons distributed in the region yesterday and directed at us today will not be used tomorrow for terrorist attacks in other parts of the world.
I wish this meeting will be a breaking point in accepting that terrorism is targeting all of us without making any language, race or religious discrimination.
I hope again that we can succeed in preventing terrorism and terrorism financing without experiencing new anguishes.
